We write for people first

Each guide should answer a clear question and help a reader make a better research decision. We avoid publishing a second page when an existing guide already answers the same question.

We start with primary sources

We prefer immigration departments, government portals, laws, and official statistics. A guide may also use a recognised research organisation when no single government source covers the topic.

Source links at the end of a guide are starting points for checking its main facts. They do not replace the rules for your nationality, location, and application date.

Dates must be accurate

The published date records when a guide first appeared on Passpoort. The updated date changes when its main content, sources, links, or structured information changes.

Corrections

Immigration rules can change without notice. If you find an error, email support@passpoort.com. We check the primary source and update the guide when a correction is needed.
